Too many disabled children and young people are missing out on health support written into their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), including therapies that will help them engage in life and education like speech and language therapy, help with eating and swallowing and occupational therapy.
When health services do not deliver this support, disabled children are left behind and their worlds become smaller and their needs more complex.
On Thursday 3 September the Disabled Children's Partnership will bring together parents, carers and several of our members including representatives from Contact, Mencap and Sense, at an event in Parliament, hosted by Jen Craft MP. We will be asking MPs to support stronger accountability for health services.

The event comes as Jen Craft MP has tabled an amendment to the Health Bill intended to make Integrated Care Boards more accountable for arranging the provision they are responsible for within children's and young people's EHCPs.
