Show your MP what the SEND crisis looks like in their constituency

Across the country, disabled children and young people are being left waiting too long for the support they need, while families are having to fight to get the right help in place.

But what does that look like where you live?

Our SEND Needs in Your Constituency tool brings together local data to show MPs the scale of the challenge facing disabled children, young people and families in their area and the scale of the challenge that SEND reform needs to address.

Your MP needs to see it.

Send your MP the data for their constituency and ask them to make sure SEND reform delivers real change for disabled children and their families and to become a Disabled Children’s Champion to stand with us as the new laws move forward.

Why take action?

Disabled children and young people deserve the same ordinary things as every other child: to learn, make friends, feel safe and belong. But too many are still waiting months for assessments and support and are having to fight the system to get their child's needs met.

The local picture matters. MPs need to understand what children and families are experiencing in the communities they represent and make sure the Government’s reforms address these challenges rather than weakening the rights and support disabled children rely on.

Send your MP the facts from their constituency today and ask them to become a Disabled Children’s Champion, standing with disabled children and families to make sure the changes deliver an education system that works for every child.
